52 Ways to Love Your Body More! – week #21

“Comparison is the thief of joy.”  – Eleanor Roosevelt
I used to spend so much time comparing myself to friends, family, strangers…hell even pets. (Seriously, why can’t I be as good of a being as my dog?!)
But one thing I realized is that we are all on this learning journey called life. No one has it all together. We are all figuring it out. And we are all genuinely trying our best.
The next time you stop to compare yourself to someone else, instead, compare yourself to where you were a year ago, or two years ago. Remember those times you overcame a big obstacle to get where you are today. Celebrate your victories along the way because after all, it is your unique journey.
Embrace it!
